The Rail Vise clamps on the Picatinny rail (MIL-STD-1913) to hold the rifle in a secure and stable manner. In these photos you can see the Rail Vise being used to hold the Upper Receiver by the rail and the Lower Receiver by using the Mag Well Adapter.

The Rail Vise provides you with many options for holding your rifle for cleaning. Also shown in our short black anodized, extruded aluminum platform for use with smaller clamping aplications.

Also in our standard parts is the Adapter Rail which replicates the Picatinny Rail on your rifle, allowing you to mount optics to the Rail Vise for cleaning or battery changes. Our long aluminum platform provides two full length channels that accept 1/4"-20 hex head bolts that make it fully adjustable for both long and short barreled firearms.

Included with the Rail Vise is the Adapter Rail. This component is inserted into the Charging Handle slot and allows the Rail Vise to be used on those rifles that do not have a Picatinny rail or where the rail is occupied with optics.
